An absolutely stunning, highly collectible vintage tea set crafted by Crown Staffordshire (England) between the 1930s and 1950s. This set features a gorgeous pale buttermilk/yellow ground decorated with an elegant, heavy 22ct gold floral chintz filigree. The inside of the teacup and the open sugar bowl feature beautifully detailed, vibrant hand-painted central rose bouquets.
This matching set includes 5 pieces in total, forming a complete trio alongside traditional serving pieces.
The pieces show typical age-appropriate wear including some crazing to the glaze, minor gold wear on rims and handles consistent with vintage use, and the patina that comes with decades of gentle life.
